We decided to try on our little city date at midday for lunch as a family and we were all very disappointed. Bao buns are the only thing worth trying - still very bland but better than everything else. Soup dumplings are overpriced and served in the same bibigo frozen plastic tray you can get from any grocery. Was expecting actual soup dumpling as pictured everywhere on menu and not just prepackaged microwaved dumplings. Orange Chicken and sauces were not good, sauce is bland and oddly sour in an expired orange chicken sauce kind of way. Chow mein tastes exactly like overcooked spaghetti and nothing like a chow mein. Potstickers were not fresh, the crispy side was very soggy like they had been sitting. Just really disappointing and not worth the money.

We were very disappointed by the food. Our beef & broccoli rice was dry and did not taste freshly made, rather kept warm for a long while. The chicken in the orange chicken bowl was extremely dry and the sauce did not taste authentic at all. The bao was OK. All in all, we wouldn’t recommend it if you like good Chinese food

Food: 3/5 (quality and taste we're okay.) Service: 3/5 (Service was okay.) Atmosphere: 3/5 (Small restaurant but clean.) I recently visited Wow Boa in the Theater District of downtown Chicago. This restaurant, known for its Asian Buns and other offerings, is conveniently located near schools and theaters, making it an ideal spot for a quick bite. Okay experience! Food: Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet my expectations. I tried the buns, orange chicken with rice, dumplings, and the homemade ginger ale. The dishes arrived cold, which was disappointing, and while the ginger ale was definitely a highlight, the rest of the meal was underwhelming. The buns felt skimpy on the filling and seemed like they had been previously frozen and then reheated. Overall, I found the other dishes to be just average. Service: On the service front, it felt a bit lackluster. The ordering process was somewhat confusing, as you have the option for either takeout or dine-in. They call your name when your order is ready, rather than bringing it to your table, which adds a bit of inconvenience. Plus, the tables were sticky, and we ended up missing some items from our order, so I appreciated that we

Good food for the price! Good variety of bao fillings and their combo meals look good too. I prefer more filling, but I understand that they have machine made baos. Love the bamboo steamers! Convenient kiosks outside for ordering and a nice space inside; clean!
